The contact details will also be used to send promotional messages and educational content and enhance the overall user experience. Baatu ensures that the details collected from the users will only be used internally and will not be shared with any external / third-parties to protect the privacy of the users. Baatu requests multiple permissions from the users to ensure a flawless service. The permissions will be used to make the apps – COP & Baatu and the Enable Tab function smoothly. Please note that the permission collection depends on the type of Baatu product you use, and we may or may not request certain permissions.

Baatu utilizes Android’s Accessibility services to help parents monitor inappropriate texts, including content related to cyberbullying and foul language, adult content, harmful substances, and any potentially dangerous age-inappropriate content, and access the status of different apps on children’s device

8.2. Screen Overlay Permission

Baatu requires Screen Overlay Permission to provide features that enhance your overall user experience. This permission allows Baatu to display information and interactive elements over other applications on children’s device.

8.3. Usage Stats Permission

Baatu requires Usage Stats permission to monitor the time spent on different applications. By tracking app usage, Baatu helps parents understand and manage the time spent on each app on the child’s device, ensuring a balanced and safe digital experience.

8.4. Location Permission

Baatu requires location access to track the child’s device’s location and get the geofence location when requested by parents. This allows parents to monitor the child’s device’s location and whereabouts.

8.5. Storage Permission

Baatu requires Storage Permission to use AI to detect inappropriate images and videos stored on the children’s media files and to ensure protection from harmful or inappropriate content.

8.6. VPN Permission

Baatu requires Virtual Private Network (VPN) permission to block access to websites restricted by parents. By using VPN technology, we ensure that the child device can only access approved content, preventing access to inappropriate or harmful websites.

8.7. Notification Permission

Baatu requires Notification permission to enhance safety and security by identifying any inappropriate texts or media that may occur in notifications. By accessing notifications, Baatu will alert the parents if any harmful messages are received on the child’s device.

8.8. Post Notification Permission

Baatu requires this permission to send important alerts and reminders to the device (Enable Tab / COP App devices) from the Baatu Parent App. Notifications include approval for extended screen time, reminders for screen limits and other important updates from the Baatu Parent App.

8.9. Phone State Permission

Baatu requires this permission to access network information and SIM card status. Using this permission, we ensure the COP app functions appropriately in different network conditions and supports features that rely on SIM card availability.

8.10. Battery Optimization Permission

Baatu requires this permission to manage battery optimization settings on child’s device. This ensures Baatu’s app(s) always runs in the background, providing continuous monitoring and enhanced safety and security.
Although it is not mandatory for the users to enable all permissions, Baatu requires these permissions to monitor the child’s device, send alerts, and track data. Failure to provide any permissions may result in data inaccuracy, and Baatu will not be responsible for any incorrect or irrelevant data.

We share Your information with third-party service providers like Firebase for uninterrupted and improved services. No ads are served in any Baatu applications. Firebase Analytics is used solely for non-personalized usage tracking.
